EXCHANGE At the beginning of Year 11 or 12 students can apply to go on exchange to Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany. Many schools in Dunedin and all over New Zealand participate this exchange in. It takes place over the Christmas holidays at the end of Year 11 or 12 and is an extremely valuable way of reinforcing the German language and culture being learnt in class. It is highly recommended for students, wishing to carry on with Level 3 German or who are looking at completing that International Baccalaureate Diploma, to participate in the exchange. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Qualification gained on full course completion — 24 credits in NCEA German Level 1. This subject has links with English, History, Geography, Economics, Travel and Tourism, Commerce and Trade. Next Step: NCEA German Level 2 or International Baccalaureate Diploma German B. |
