COURSE CONTENT
Students will:- - Understand and explore the use of basic accounting, economic, and business concepts and models to make sense of society and solve problems. - Understand the market forces that affect their own economic participation. - Recognise the significance of different attitudes and values which influence the choices that are made in allocating and managing resources. - Have a basic understanding of the New Zealand economic system. CONTENT: - Understanding an organisation's financial decision-making process - How an organisation's culture and values can influence its decision-making. - Understanding how society benefits from concepts like interdependence, kaitiakitanga, enterprise, innovation and 'tauhokohoko' ASSESSMENT
