ASSESSMENT
There are two internal Achievement Standards offered at Year 13 and Students progress towards their externally examined achievement standards will be monitored through in-class formative assessments and end of topic tests.
UE LITERACY
10 credits (5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing) are required to meet the University Entrance literacy requirements. This course provides the following standards in UE Reading & Writing: READING: WRITING: FUTURE STUDIES / CAREER OPTIONS
Chemistry is a prerequisite subject for many courses at Polytechnic and University for example, engineering, physical education, physiotherapy, dentistry, geology, pharmacy and medicine.
